Enter Into Fullness
Matthew 7:7
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
NIV translation
“Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This isn’t a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re at least decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?”

Art & Soul Door Project
This Art work was created by our weekly community Art group “Art and Soul.’ It is an repurposed old door from St Peters, found in our Crypt. The verse that inspired our piece is Matthew 7:7. We wanted to express something of the fullness of life to be found in Christs love for us. We also wanted to illustrate the open door – the invitation to enter into that fullness – that this is for everyone.

‘Art and Soul’ is a community art club every Wednesday 1:30-3pm @ St Peter’s everyone’s welcome.
We want Art and Soul it to be a really relaxed space for all. A space where we are able to explore community, creativity and faith at whatever pace feels right for each one of us.
